The University Center for Simulation in Medical Training (CUSIM) of Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova organized the "SimOlympic 2025" University Simulation Olympiad, 6th edition.

Andrei Romancenco, head of the University Center for Simulation in Medical Training, stated that SimOlympic was a unique competition, which aimed to encourage excellence and innovation in medical training, to strengthen the practical skills and professional ethics of students, to stimulate collaboration between academics, students and international partners, and to reaffirm the CUSIM role as a reference entity in medical training through simulation.

"Adrenalin", "CodeBlue Team", "ATI-Gods" and "Scrubs" teams, made up of 5th year medical students from Faculty of Medicine No. 1, participated in the competition. The Olympiad began with the presentation of the teams through a short video that highlighted their main practical skills.

The competition was held in several stages: quarterfinals, semifinals and the grand final, according to a set schedule. The medical students had the opportunity to demonstrate their theoretical knowledge and dexterity by managing simulated clinical scenarios, which reproduce complex and critical medical emergency situations. The evaluation was carried out by a jury of specialists in the field, who appreciated the performance of the participants based on the criteria of communication, case management, correct application of medical procedures and teamwork.
