According to Rector Emil Ceban, the advancement in the respective ranking constitutes a proof and a result of the joint effort made by the entire university team. It is worth mentioning that each member of Nicolae Testemitanu University family realizes and capitalizes on his strengths for Alma Mater's prosperity.
In the current edition of the MosIUR top, the number of universities has increased from 1,650 to 1,800, as compared to last year.
The ranking evaluates, based on 16 indicators, the quality of education (45%), the scientific activity (25%) and, for the first time in the compilation of global academic rankings, the contribution of universities to society (30%). The last evaluation criterion makes MosIUR one of the most representative academic rankings, the assessment of institution's impact on society being qualified as an innovative approach. Consequently, the best 1800 universities from 103 countries were selected from a list of more than 2200 higher education establishments from 129 states.
The Three University Missions, carried out by Moscow International University, is the first international university ranking that responds to changes in global education after the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
