”Nicolae Testemitanu” State University of Medicine and Pharmacy – award-innwer at Excellent Idea-2022 exibition

Researchers and inventors from Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy received the most honorable mentions at the first edition of Excellent Idea-2022 International Exhibition of Creativity and Innovation, organized in partnership with the Innovation and Technology Transfer Center of the Academy of Economic Studies (ASEM) of Moldova and the Academy of Sciences of Moldova.

In total, researchers of our university were awarded 15 medals, including 6 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze medals, the trophy "For the youngest inventor" and 8 diplomas of excellence.

The Rector of Nicolae Testemitanu State University, university professor Emil Ceban, who attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition, has mentioned that this is a special event for the scientific life, but also for local and foreign higher education and research institutions, our university participating for the first time as a partner in the organization of a research and innovation exhibition. 

”Today, no one doubts that the progress of all the fields in which we operate is determined by the results of fundamental and applied scientific research. This event aims to highlight the latest results in the area of science and innovation, with a view to familiarizing the general public with the achievements of the Republic of Moldova and other countries, evaluating the relevance of scientific results, creating the conditions for their implementation, as well as motivating and stimulating the participation of young people in the research process. This exhibition shows the increased importance of research activity and related public policies for the acquisition of knowledge and the application of scientific results in our activities, including in the health system”, concluded the rector.

The salon was attended by 21 young researchers from the Republic of Moldova and Romania – students, resident doctors and doctoral students, who gained numerous achievements: publications, invention patents, implementation documents, medals at international invention salons, trophies, diplomas etc.

The purpose of the exhibition was to inform the society about the novelty, importance and benefits of creativity and innovations at the national and international level, the substantial contribution to the development of science and innovation, stimulating the involvement of young people in research activities, increasing the quality of life, motivating creativity throughout life, as well as creating opportunities to apply new ideas.
