Five students of ”Nicolae Testemitanu” University to receive state merit scholarships

Five students of Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy will receive financial aid from the state in the form of merit scholarships. The worthy young people included on the lists of persons recently approved by the Government of the Republic of Moldova, who will benefit from the Government Scholarship, the Republic Scholarship and the President's Scholarship in the 2022-2023 academic year, are:
Nicoleta Bucșa – 4th-year student, Nursing study program, Faculty of Medicine No. 1 – Republic Scholarship in the amount of 1755 lei;
Daniela Machidon – 5th year student, Medicine study program, Faculty of Medicine No. 1 – Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Moldova in the amount of 1,595 lei;
Eugeniu Valic – 5th year student, Medicine study program, Faculty of Medicine No. 1 – Government Scholarship in the amount of 1460 lei;
Liliana Vengher – 6th year student, Medicine study program, Faculty of Medicine No. 1 – Government Scholarship;
Rodica Rădăuță – 4th year student, Pharmacy study program, Faculty of Pharmacy - Government Scholarship.
Scholarships will be granted monthly to full-time students in order to support achievements and meritocracy, in the context of strengthening the higher education system with a view to achieving harmonization with the European higher education area, as well as increasing the attractiveness and national/international competitiveness of higher education institutions of the country.
Students who obtained, in the summer session of the previous academic year, an average grade of not less than "9" in technical, agrarian, economic, medical, military, law fields and in real sciences (mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, biology) and at least "9.5" in other fields of study were deemed eligible to participate in the competition.
In total, 52 students from the country's universities will benefit from state financial aid for special merits. Thus, the following scholarships will be awarded to students: 12 Republic Scholarships, 30 Government Scholarships and 10 President's Scholarships.
104 files were submitted for the merit scholarships, candidates being selected according to the following criteria: grade point average; participation in educational, research, cultural and sports activities, the number of publications, etc.
